  I'm a patient at Rosedale Medical Centre (RMC) in Summerland. The Medical Office Assistants (MOA) are excellent and Colleen was so great today I'm writing this review! She looked up my prescriptions and was able to ask my Doctor to fax renewals to my pharmacy where I'm travelling.The Doctors operate as a team with each having access to clinic patients records. I was concerned for my privacy but realized the advantage of this practice when I was in hospital and saw a few of the physicians from RMC. Many may not realize how important are the MOAs in your Doctors' office, please treat them well, they are part of the team looking after you.

  I am glad i am not the only one that thinks Shawna is a snob I was uncomfortable having to deal with her mood of the day I dont like the other one named Darlene snooty to.

  The receptionist is rude and makes an issue of even the smallest requests.

  I agree with previous comments. Shawna is SUPER snooty and not inclined to help with even basic inquiries.

  This is a caring and polite clinic. Dr Bannerman is excellent. All staff at reception are helpful and the patient bathroom is spotless. Highly recommended !

  For patients prescribed pain opiates I advise you obtain an extra months supply and take with you when travelling. It is impossible to get opiate prescriptions transferred and refilled away from your home pharmacy in large cities like Vancouver with a lot of addicts. In emergency get your Doctor to fax opiate prescription, then mail the copy to your away pharmacy. I will be speaking with BC Health Minister Terry Lake about this huge problem, I am fed-up with drug addicts causing so many problems for the law abiding public and the Province not figuring out a way to manage.
